Replacing old infrastructure is good, though it should have been done long ago. But streetscaping?? This is only masking the real problem. Nobody is going to drive 30 minutes from Monkey Junction or Ogden to see your fabulous new trees or street furniture. Why doesn't the city work on creating a need for people to be downtown & then improve the public transportation to bring people downtown. Decorating your downtown should be a lower priority than finding ways to bring people downtown.
