For all those that think Soles should not have been indicted because he was defending his life and property are wrong. Blackburn was shot in the back of the thigh and the security video showed Blackburn and Wright leaving the property. That means that his life and property were no longer in danger.
Granted Blackburn and Wright are career criminals and should be charged with attempting to break into his house, but they were leaving and he did not have to shoot Blackburn. So just because he is a State Senator doesn't mean he should recieves special treatment. Also on another note if anyone else in the county had been arrested for the same felony they would have recieved more than a $5,000 unsecured bond.
