People w/a felony can not get accepted into a degree program. Obviously, I understand, a person w/a record of child molestation should not be accepted into Early Childhood 101, but I'm mentioning good people who may have received a DUI years ago, not being accepted into Physical Therapy program or other Health Care fields. If their record shows there has been no further incidents and drug screening shows no drug use, why wouldn't we want people to better themselves and be educated w/the possibility of getting a descent job? Most jobs have probation periods which allows for termination w/o cause, anyway. Being denied continued education & employment can turn a case of bad judgment into a lifetime of repression and unfortunate, negative effect for them & their family.
criminal job search w/a record
