Army Recruiting Company gets new leader

The US Army Recruiting Company in Wilmington welcomed a new leader today. Capt. Rafael Musseb-Gil is the new captain at the Armed Forces Reserve Center. Wilmington's recruiting company is known as the Pitt Bulls. They cover southeastern North Carolina with seven recruiting stations.

Musseb-Gil was last stationed in Texas and says he's excited to network with people in the Port City.

"We're coming here as part of the community and try to improve the testing in the schools," he said. "Getting involved in the different programs in the counties that we serve. It's about going out there and spreading the message of all the benefits that the Army has to offer for the young people in the community."
