Man drowns at Ocean Isle Beach

BRUNSWICK COUNTY -- For the second time in a week a local beach has had to deal with one of its patrons drowning. Rescue officials say a 64-year-old man's body was found face-down at the far east end of Ocean Isle near east Fourth and Shallotte Street early Tuesday afternoon. They say the man, on vacation with his family, had stepped into the water to reel in a fish he caught before he got pulled in by a rip current.
