As I stated MR Hewett being a convicted felon can not vote in this election.
NC states that ex felons can have their citizenship rights automatically restored after they have FULLY completed their sentence, including probation, parole and post release supervision and they must re-register to vote.
This being said, Hewett can apply for his voting rights to be restored when he completes his full sentence which happens to be around January 2012.
So as I stated Hewett can not vote in this election, its that simple even you can understand that.
