It's been three days since an 8.8 magnitude earthquake shook Chile, including some UNCW students studying there. Today we tracked down one of those students, who talked with WWAY on Skype.

Senior Kyle Camu and the other six students were on a month-long break from classes when the earthquake hit early Saturday morning. Just a half hour before the earth began to shake, Camu woke up at his host house in Vina Del Mar, Chile. Though 360 miles north of the heart of the destruction, it was certainly close enough to feel. Camu heard neighborhood dogs barking just before the ground began to move.

"When I was trying to run down the hall, it was just really hard to run because it was just shaking so much I was getting thrown around," he said. "And then the last minute, I had to hold on to the wall because it started getting really intense, and I could hear a lot of things in the house breaking."

Camu says every day since the quake, tremors shake his nerves because he thinks another earthquake is coming.

Camu says he going to try to help people over there in need before his classes start back up in Valparaíso March 15.
