Then why are they in uniform, driving sheriff cars during the day?
I guess the crime rate in Brunswick county is so low that they do not need to be patrolling.
But then they post stuff like "any info needed on burglary suspect or vandalism".
It's called "working the votes" at election time.
So I'm sure it shows up as a payment to the Brunswick County Sheriff Dept on the books right?
Because they are driving county vehicles and burning county gas.
WWAY needs to investigate this.
