City of Wilmington hosts egg hunts

Egg Hunt at the Fit For Fun Center!

The city will host an egg hunt for children 5 & under at the Fit for Fun Center, located at 302 S. 10th St., on Wednesday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to noon. Doors will open at 9 a.m. for the event and there is a $5 charge per child. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited.

Children can hunt for eggs with others in their age group. A guest bunny will be there to assist. Also included is a special snack and other fun activities!

Spring Eggventure at Halyburton Park!

The city invites you and your child age 3-10 to join the eggcitement at Halyburton Park, located at 4099 S. 17th St., on April 1 from 1-4 p.m. There is a $5 charge per child.
Egg hunts will begin at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. Many other events and activities are planned for the day, including Animal Eggs and Nest, Egglympics, Storytime and a spring nature hike. Space is limited for this event and pre-registration is required.

Scavenger Egg Hunt!

There will be a scavenger style egg hunt for adults with disabilities on Tuesday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Maides Park, located at 1101 Manly Avenue.
Pre-registration is required for this event, and there is a $1 charge to participate. Please call 341-7867 or TTY Relay 711 for more information.
