Carolina Beach Police say they foiled a murder plot over the weekend. Narcotics officers say early Saturday morning they met 56-year-old Arthur Pedersen and agreed to go to a party. He is now in the New Hanover County jail under $500,000 bond charged with attempted murder and burglary.
