The sheriff knows everybody is watching this one closely. He also has no control over what the state does about suspending her license. She should lose her license like anyone else would. She broke the very laws she was sworn to enforce. I really hope she can keep her job with the department even though she might be behind a desk for a while instead of a wheel. She has been punished right much as it is with injuries and destroying her new car. I am sure she has learned a painful lesson, but should still be treated like any other driver under the same circumstances.
