Parent information meeting scheduled for Wrightsboro Elementary parents after mold discovered

Parents of Wrightsboro Elementary School are encouraged to attend an information meeting about the school’s recent location change. New Hanover County Schools and NHC Health Department officials, along with Dr. Sean Lucas of Allergy Partners of Coastal Carolina, will be available to answer parents’ questions. This meeting is being scheduled at the parents’ request. Officials will share information about the school’s transition to its new, temporary location at Holly Shelter Middle School and the current mold remediation process taking place in the original Wrightsboro school buildings located at 2716 Castle Hayne Road.

DIRECTIONS to Holly Shelter Middle School:

* Proceed West on 1-40
* Take the Castle Hayne - #414 Exit
* From exit ramp, turn left onto Holly Shelter Road
* Go to the first stop light and make a left on Roger Haynes Road

(Light is located immediately after overpass bridge.)

* Holly Shelter Middle will be the second school on the campus
