Here is a novel idea as far as our federal government is concerned. Balance the Budget; Spend what you take in; Do Not Raise Taxes in a Recession.
VOTE THE SALES TAX INCREASE DOWN.
Any increase in taxes, NEVER stops another tax increase. Property taxes will still be raised, unless the citizens say NO to all tax increases. We are not your piggy bank.
Cut expenses, Do NOT Raise Taxes.
SIMPLE.
