You should do your research and stop jumping to conclusions. The Osprey at one time did have a bad safety record, but many of those issues have been fixed or are currently being fixed. Planes crash all the time. Just because one crashed in Afghanistan (most likely by enemy fire) doesn't mean they are defective. Keep in mind this is the FIRST TIME an Osprey has crashed during operations in a war zone. They also perform their MAGTAF demo at airshows all the time. Did anyone die then? Nope. So please, do your homework before you blab your mouth about things you don't understand.
Back to the article...It would have been cool if the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds had done a fly-by. I'd actually get up early to see that.
