WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Earlier this week we told you about a teenager from England stranded here in Wilmington because of the volcanic eruption in Iceland. Well, he is finally on his way home. Patrick Wright came to Wilmington on his Spring break to visit his mom. He had not been able to get home to Reading, England, for nearly a week. Wright's mom says 12 teachers at his school and four classmates are also stranded somewhere around the world, but not Wright any more. His flight took off last night from Raleigh.
