So now the Police department is admitting THIS time that this was an accident caused by the officer..so what if the officer had killed or hurt someone in the process, would he be facing charges as Mr. Pierce did..these police officers are not equipped to drive in high pursuit chases..they need to go back to the training academy and 101 defensive driving..and Im interested to know what backup he was responding to and what charges the criminal faced??..why are they pursing somone through wilmington streets at high speed chases..these cops have too big of egos...
