We were privileged to stay at Carolina Beach for this past Memorial day weekend! We went to the dog beach(with our Chihuahua) at Fort Fisher on Saturday, which is a nice beach. Unfortunately, we couldn't get anywhere close on Sunday! The cars were swarming like vultures just waiting for the next car to leave! There was a huge line at the north end dog beach, also. We ended up going to Topsail Island, where we luckily found a parking spot at a beach access. Carolina Beach needs to provide more beach access along the ocean front, where there are no houses. Also, we need more overflow parking for holidays.
