Wait a minute, a hurricane or 2 cruises through the Gulf of Mexico shutting down refineries and gas prices go up-up-up! Yet there are thousands of gallons of oil {gasoline comes from/& resources} lost per day getting spewed into those very same waters and gas prices are now going down?????
1. Either the effects haven't yet hit the consumer at the pumps..(I think this one's coming)..or>
2. The gas price gouging wasn't necessary back during Katina to begin with.
While Washington is investigating BP and whom's to blame, jump back a few years and compare.
