It's the attempted 1st degree burglary that carries the most time. It's my understanding that the burglary charge came because he attempted to break into the occupied dwelling of one of the girls he was peeping on. What do you think he would have done to the "womenfolk" inside if he had successsfully broken in? At the very least, she probably would been raped. I think that's worth 8 years in prison.
