I don't know if any of the board of education members are up for re-election or not. What I suggest is if you are angry at this situation, send an email to each board member vowing to vote against them if they participate in or support this meeting at a hotel, and let them know you will encourage friends and family to do so as well, and then stick to it!!
I see teachers every day buying supplies out of their own pockets while they struggle to make ends meet themselves.
Some of these board members are "career" members like the Washington politicians who have become complacent and comfortable with the status quo.
