Berger came out the day after the runoff was announced and proclaimed to the media that he wanted an issues-based race, and a positive campaign. It was Caster who, desperate to avoid any spotlight on his horrible record; started the mudslinging.
Ever since then, Berger has simply been refuting the lies of Bill Caster. Caster is a liar. His entire platform on his website is a lie - in 18 years, he has worked against all of those things. He is a liar because he intentionally tried to get away with planting a letter to the editor and then lied about it. He's a liar when he says he's against all tax increases - when he has voted for them in the past, and he has always voted to spend tons of money which necessitates the need for more taxes to pay for his agenda.
Berger misspoke - and immediately admitted it. Anyone who doesn't see the difference is on the Caster machine payroll.
you've got to be kidding
