WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- There is one low performer in this week's Kitchen Cops report, while four area restaurants received top marks.
This week's low score belongs to Monkey Barz in Monkey Junction. Three points off because there was no hot water at any sink. There were no thermometers to check food temperatures. And the refrigerators, microwave, tables, fryers and other items needed cleaning. Fifteen violations in all and a score of 85 for Monkey Barz.
Our top scores begin with a regular high performer: Le Catalan French Café & Wine Bar in Downtown Wilmington, which earned a perfect 100.
Perfection as well for Catch Modern Seafood on Market Street in Ogden.
To Brunswick County, where Plaza Garibaldi on North Howe Street in Southport earned a perfect score.
And another perfect 100 down the road in Supply and Mankin's Causeway Café.
