WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The three candidates for US Senate will hold their first debate tomorrow here in Wilmington. Incumbent Republican Richard Burr, Democrat Elaine Marshall and Libertarian Mike Beitler will take part in the forum at the North Carolina Bar Association's annual conference at the Hilton Riverfront. The debate starts at 11 a.m. At 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Marshall will meet with supporters at Port City Java at 21 North Front Street. After the debate, Sen. Burr will attend a Brunswick County Republican Campaign Kick-off at the intersection of NC 211 and Midway Road at 1 p.m. Then he heads to the grand opening of the duplin county GOP headquarters at 3 p.m.
