Info

I am sure that, at some point in all my years of schooling, I must have been made to read the Declaration of Independence. But, I cannot remember having read or heard the entire text of the document that established the United States of America. I know that I will, however, never forget sitting in my living room, and listening to every word of this historical piece of writing, as spoken by familiar personalities of WWAY and other well-known citizens of our community. Somehow, your presentation brought the meaning and the importance of our Declaration of Independence to life, as I have never known it before. The courage of the men who crafted this work (this "passport to the gallows") brought tears to my eyes. Thank you, WWAY and the citizens of our community, for creating this presentation. It meant so much, and caused me to remember what Independence Day really means.
