Men wanted for stealing from dead man's home

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Police are looking for two men who robbed the home of a Wilmington man killed in a house fire last month. Investigators say the men broke into the boarded up house on Mercer Avenue where 69-year-old Luther Weeks died after his oxygen tank exploded.

Two of Weeks's relatives were at the house to do some work when they found the robbers trying to steal a washing machine. The men were driving a ford pickup truck with North Carolina license plate XXR 2208.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wilmington Police Department at (910) 343-3658.
