As a downtown resident, i was excited to hear of the new addition that would give pedestrians an additional safe place to cross, other than the busy Market and 3rd area. Although drivers are having a hard time obeying the law, it still serves a great purpose. Not only should we (Wilmingtonians) do what we can to get this system operational again but also be proud to have the "first" of something since being the "first in flight". I used this crosswalk as safety to me, my lady, and my dogs!
