There's plenty of ACC basketball over the weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- The Atlantic Coast Conference has made the turn and is heading for the end of the regular season, and this weekend starts that trip.

In men's action, Wake Forest heads down Interstate 40 to face Number 5 North Carolina in Chapel Hill. That's a 1:30 tipoff, followed by a pair of 4 p.m. games, North Carolina State at Miami and Virginia at Virginia Tech.

Sunday's action begins at 1 p.m., with Georgia Tech hosting Connecticut. Boston College faces Florida State at 3 and Number 16 Duke tries to snap a three-game losing streak at Maryland a 5 p.m.

There are five ACC women's games on Sunday. Unbeaten and top-ranked Duke goes for 26 in a row in a road game at Wake Forest.

Sixth-ranked Maryland is at Virginia, Virginia Tech is at Clemson, N-C State is at Georgia Tech and Miami is at Boston College.
