Why dont they tell us why the city and county didnt report

Had this have been a terrorist attack on our Water Supply, and CFPUA communicated with the public the same way they elected to this time and not involve Emergency Management.. I would assume or imagine that over half of us could be dead right now...
PATHETIC COMMUNICATION!
Why don't they tell us why the city and county didn't report anything?
Don't drink the water.. You MUST boil it...
I cannot even tell you, as I have lost track HOW many people I have spoken with who did NOT know about the Boil Advisory....
I asked one of my friends who is a technologist why on earth he didn't know...
His answer was simple.. :"I disconnect from technology and tv screens on the weekend..."
He has a point... If this was such a drastic thing.. (An ENTIRE city having to boil ANY water) Why wasn't Emergency Mgmt. Activated?
Why were so many eating establishments still serving tap water?
Why were there citizens who were unaware?
I will tell you why.. Because not only did CFPUA do a HORRIBLE job communicating (Not everyone has internet or uses RSS feeds there, CFPUA...)
But the county did not update their website.. Health Department, Environmental.. No one from New Hanover County bothered to update any portion of their site over the weekend..
It was mass confusion and the poorest communication during a severe event I have witnessed in 63 years...

The ONLY reason any of us knew ANYTHING, was because of the media who went to the CFPUA site and read the news updates…
