I've always supported the Salvation Army, but after watching the interview with the man in charge of the local shelter, that has ceased. His attitude is not caring at all. In my opinion, he thinks it is just a business, like a motel...if you can't pay, you can't stay. The Salvation Army is a charitable organization and should act as such.
