I'VE LIVED IN THE AREA FOR

I'VE LIVED IN THE AREA FOR YEARS. IN ALL MY YEARS ATTENDING SCHOOL THERE,NEVER SAW A SNAKE IN THE SCHOOL. THEY NEED TO SHUT THE SCHOOL DOWN UNTIL THEY HAVE GONE THROUGH THE SCHOOL AND THE CEILINGS TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO SNAKES. THERE ARE CHILDREN IN THE SCHOOL THAT HAVE MEDICAL CONDITIONS THAT COULD CAUSE THEM TO GO IN DISTRESS IF THEY SEEN A SNAKE. IF THIS PROBLEM CAUSED MY CHILD TO GO IN DISTRESS SOMEONE WOULD BE IN TROUBLE BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS. BUT LEAVE IT TO COLUMBUS COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM, THEY ALWAYS SIT BACK AND DO NOTHING. THIS GOES TO SHOW THERE ARE NO CONCERNS IN OUR SCHOOL SYSTEM. YOU BETTER BELIEVE THAT OTHER SCHOOLS WOULD HAVE CLOSED THE DOORS UNTIL THE ISSUE WAS RESOLVED. IF THE PARENTS WOULD RAISE ENOUGH STINK OR KEEP YOUR KIDS HOME, THEY WOULD TAKE THE PRECAUTIONS TO HANDLE THE SITUATION. TODAY SEPTEMBER 2, 2010 THEY FOUND 3 MORE SNAKES IN THE HALLWAY AND BATHROOM. PARENTS ITS TIME TO TAKE A STAND AND GET A PETITION TOGETHER AND START CALLING THE STATE TO GET SOME RESULTS. THIS IS RIDICULOUS THAT THEY DON'T SEE A PROBLEM. JUST THINK THE SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED FROM FRIDAY UNTIL TUESDAY. HOW MANY SNAKES WILL BE IN THE BUILDING WHEN SCHOOL REOPENS ON TUESDAY.
