September 16, 2010, The Ikebana International Chapter 212 will meet in the Arboretum classroom (main building), from 10am to Noon. Refreshments and conversation begin at 9:30am. There will be a short business meeting led by our new president, Kay Adolph. Marie Kahn, of the Ikenobo School, will then demonstrate kubari techniques, the placement of branches or twigs in a container to support materials in the arrangement. As an added treat, Roger Mansur will display and sell his pottery. One of his pots will be donated and raffled at $1.00/ticket. Roger accepts cash or checks. 6206 Oleander Drive.
