why should you restrict something that people enjoy (and some cases their only mode of transportation)? Why not restrict cars from driving at night so they don’t hit motorcycles/mopeds/bicycles?

for the motorcycles driving dangerously there ARE laws restricting this. Improper lane change, reckless endangerment, speeding, improper passing, following too closely.

And i can tell you that it isn’t always the young that are driving stupid.
