Blaming the bartender in my opionion would be like blaming the pharmacist if you were driving under prescribed meds that contained a warning label. EVERYONE is aware that your ability to drive after consuming alcholol is impaired.
These were adults that choose to
1. drink and drive
2. drink and ride
Based on the deceased ages they all grew up in a media driven society that has had a lot of emphasis on the concequences of these poor choices.
It is sad and tragic, and the families involved must be devasted but instead of casting blame where it does not belong, start some kind of program in thier name to find out why people continue to drink and drive even after knowing the devasting effects.
A taxi is always cheaper then a dui, heck a limo for the night is cheaper then a dui.
