Why are CFCC students expected to be tolerant of a religion that embraces violent jihad, honor killings, the subjugation of women, the refusal to accept the existence of a nation created legitimately by the United Nations, and exhibits not one tiny bit of tolerance itself?
The Star News had a good write-up on this discussion, and it was obvious that it wasn't much of a discussion at all - just a long laundry list of justifications for Muslims still living in the Twelfth Century and seething with anger and hatred. It sounds as if left-wing political correctness has spread from Chapel Hill to Front Street.
I'd say that CFCC students and everyone should judge Islam by its fruit. Try taking your own, personal Bible with you to vacation in Saudi Arabia. See what happens. See how long you'll be in prison or how quickly you'll be deported.
Or try building a church in Kabul. Heck, you don't have to build a church. As we recently saw, simply go to do humanitarian relief work in Afghanistan and see what happens!
Go date a Muslim girl. Just as we saw in Australia, you may be called to testify when her brother KILLS HER for dating a non-Muslim.
