In your mind, this is no different than earlier predjudice against Catholics or Jews or orietals who did nothing to earn the bias shown against them. Were you in a coma on September 11th, 2001? Bali, October 12th, 2002? London, July 7th 2005? Did you miss the riots and hundreds of millions in damage in France? The U.S.S. Cole? The 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center? The Millenium Plot? Fort Hood? Europe trashed because of a political cartoon?

No one is advocating persecuting them. Anyone with a brain, however, would advocate being aware of the threat they pose to this nation and our way of life, and standing ready to counter it whenever it rears its head.
