I have worked downtonw for 30 years, and have always ALWAYS had a pleasurable experience when stopping in. The staff was friendly and engaged you, never ignored you.. you always got a * Have a good day, baby..* the music they played if you didn't have to go inside for anything while getting gas, gave you a good feeling. A shame they can't stay with the new owners if they choose to. The new employees will have HUGE shoes to fill.
