Ron was the best sheriff BRunswick County could want and ever had. He got more drugs out of BC than anybody else. Kinda makes me wonder, that he's telling the truth about taking the guilty plea, because Gore and the DA's office did make threats too charge his family with some trumped up charges. They knew if it went to trial, he'd be found not guilty. I am not a friend of Hewitts, but met him several times and am proud to say voted for him every year.As for our county leader Marty Cooke, if you can't afford to buy yourself a cup of coffee, make some at home before you leave, or better yet give up your seat and get a real job that you can afford to eat out on your own money.
