what happens when the grant money runs out, which it will at the end of three years. I find it interesting the money comes from COPS. With the City annexing more and more land, there's less and less for the Sheriff's Department to patrol.
For what it's worth, this amounts to $54166.66/per year per deputy. Is the annual cost per deputy including benefits $54k? Just asking.
