Rep. Hill injures neck but back home today

Rep. Dewey Hill fell at his Lake Waccamaw home this weekend and injured his neck. He stumbled on his way to get some ice cream from his deep freezer - according to Whiteville.com.

An ambulance took Hill to a New Hanover County orthopedic center.

Hill is expected to be released this afternoon, but may have to wear a neck brace for a short time. No lingering effects are expected, he said by telephone this morning.
