The National Rifle Association (NRA) has endorsed Congressman Mike McIntyre for re-election to the US House of Representatives and has awarded him an A rating for his “solid and consistent record in Congress” of preserving the rights of American gun owners.
“As a member of Congress, you have demonstrated a proven commitment to our Second Amendment rights by voting to curb bogus lawsuits against gun manufacturers and to prohibit guns confiscations during states of emergency,” NRA Director of Federal Affairs Charles H. Cunningham wrote in the endorsement letter.
The NRA also thanked Congressman McIntyre for his cosponsorship and support for legislation to force reform at the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Congressman McIntyre, a member of the Second Amendment Task Force, will attend the Real Wilmington Gun Show Saturday morning at the New Hanover County Law Enforcement Officers Associations on Holly Shelter Road in Castle Hayne.
