WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- From all over the Cape Fear region...hundreds of people, young and old, now know a little more about science. From the physics and engineering of roller coasters to the DNA of strawberries. Science Fest was this weekend at the Cape Fear Museum. Guests visited stations throughout the entire museum for a hands-on approach to science. One little girl, who wants to be an artist when she grows up, learned science relates to art too.
Seven year-old Vanessa Fraser said, “yeah, 'cause you can make clay and stuff.”
She went through all the stages of the scientific process and learned how to communicate her findings at WWAY’s mock TV station.
