Sewage spill halts repair work

WILMINGTON -- There's been another sewage spill in the Bradley Creek area. It's the third one in two days. It's also brought an abrupt halt to repair work. This line shows where one spill occurred in the Wrightsviile Green neighborhood as temporary bypass lines became disconnected. One-thousand gallons spilled Tesday, about 300 gallons spilled Wednesday morning. Wednesday afternoon another spill occurred near Wrightsivlle Avenue. That one sent an estimated 12,000 gallons of sewage into Bradley Creek. You're advised to avoid contact with water from Bradley Creek between Wrightsville Avenue and the intracoastal.
