Butler does not mean higher taxes. After all it was that blow hard Jason Thompson, who is a Republican, that told the voters that if we did not vote for the sales taxes increase the county would have to raise our property taxes. NO ONE and I mean No one wants higher taxes. However, the voters felt that a tax increase (if unavoidable) should be shared by all of the county, not just the property owners.
Once the tax increase was passed what happens Mr. Republican, Jason Thompson does some double talking and now the property owners of the county have to pay for an additional tax increase. So don't pull out the expression "tax and spend" democrats. I think you have been drinking the kool-aid and don't buy into the "republican talking points". For the record I am a republican.
