Article courtesy UNCW Sports - GREENSBORO, North Carolina. - UNCW's guard tandem of senior Chad Tomko and freshman Tanner Milson led five players in double figures with 18 points apiece to power the Seahawks over Wake Forest, 81-69, in a non-conference men's basketball game Sunday afternoon at the Greensboro Coliseum. The Seahawks evened their record at 4-4 on the season and collected their first win in 13 tries against the Demon Deacons and only their second victory in 33 outings against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent. The Demon Deacons had a three-game winning streak snapped and stand 5-4. Tomko and Milson anchored UNCW's balanced scoring attack, which resulted in 50 percent shooting and a season-low seven turnovers on the day. Sophomore forward Keith Rendleman added 16 points, freshman forward Donte Morales chipped in 13 and senior guard Ahmad Grant had 11 points for the Seahawks. Senior guard Gary Clark came off the bench to lead Wake with 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting, including 4-for-6 behind the arc. Sophomore forward Ari Stewart collected 15 points and sophomore guard C.J. Harris contributed 12 for the Demon Deacons. Wake Forest center Ty Walker scored 3 points. He also had one blocked shot in 18 minutes of playing time. The Wilmington resident graduated from New Hanover High School.
