No one said anything about not liking the program but isn't the whole premise of programs like Toys for Tots to give presents to kids who otherwise wouldn't have anything to open on Christmas? The mother in the story was fortunate enough to have been able to buy some things so it just seems off to me. I'm not trying to down the program or the recipients, I was genuinely curious.
