I hope sincerely that Sergeant Edwards has found a new job. I do not know him personally; however, I have appreciated from afar his admirable behavior in this ridiculously dishonest, sleazy mess created by Mr. Benston and Mr. Storms. I am a Bladen County citizen who very much appreciates his work and his integrity with the sheriff's department. It is a very sad fact that if his "services are no longer needed," what has really been said is, "State the truth, and you will be punished by my removing your livelihood. Dare to speak the truth, and I will squash you! Maintain the status quo of deception, or that will be the end of you."
