This will actually be a good boost here in the local area for coverage. we will actually go from being a current 3G non EVDO to an LTE with downline of about 9-12mbit and upline of about 1-1.5 mbit. Those currently on 3G will see an increase just because we will at least step up to EVDO.
I have been testing the LTE in Nashville and the speed difference is excellent. While it is not true 4G...no carrier in the US offers True 4G but its a step in the right direction.
