The NWS reported 3.8 inches in Wilmington but if your farther west in New hanover its possible you had a littel more, we have a 2nd home on wrightsville beach front a few houses north of the johnny mercer pier and had 1.5 inches, so the show ammounts were wide spread with a average of 3.8 for new hanover. also people measure drifts which arnt actual measurements you need a snow guage to get your actual snow fall. Deck rails are a prime example if there is 8 inches on a deck the you had about 4, because there can be as much as 3-6 inches on decks before it starts sticking to the ground.
