ORLANDO, FL (AP) - Marcus Jordan has never shied away from being the son of NBA great Michael Jordan. Now the sophomore guard is finding his own identity at Central Florida this season, starring for a Knights team hoping to earn its first NCAA tournament berth since 2005.

Jordan is also quickly becoming the face of a basketball program that he is making relevant. He is leading UCF in scoring, averaging 16.5 points, and is second in assists (3.2), while posting five, 20-point games.

Jordan was the catalyst in a Division I-best 14-0 start and the school's first ranking in the Top 25.

He says he wanted to "make an impact right away" and leave "something that UCF had never seen before."
