WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Four more names have been added to the Fallen Soldier Memorial Garden at the National Guard Armory in Wilmington.

Sgt. 1st Class Edward Kramer, Sgt. Roger Adams, Sgt. Robert Bittiker and Sgt. Juan Carlos Baldeosingh died in Iraq in 2009 when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle.

Their platoon leader, First Lieutenant Marcus Hamilton said the memorial gives people a place to come to remember the men and the sacrifice they made for their fellow soldiers and their country. "And it gives the public a place to remember them and not just their sacrifices but also the sacrifices their families gave, being supportive of them being in the military and what comes with that responsibility,” added Hamilton.

Lieutenant Hamilton said people often forget the sacrifice of the families back home. The memorial will forever be a reminder of everyone's sacrifice.
